inzource today announced the upcomming release of Perixam, a distributed accounting system that records and processes accounting transactions. Unlike tradition Accounting software, it's abbility to be used in a distributed environment means that a team can work on a companies finances, and join (or "merge") the teams work together into one file.

What can Perixam do?

• Manage Accounts receivable
• Manage Accounts payable
• Maintain General ledger
• Billing: the company creates invoices to pass onto it's clients/customers

Focus on Mid-Market functionality

Perixam is built on top of Industry-standard robust databases, with a choice of either MySQL or sqlite - or a mix of both, with tools for extending the application with an easy to understand PHP SDK, or XML hooks.

Perixam keeps a record of all the actions that are done on the business' records, and also records what person done the action, leaving accountability.

Perixam exports it's invoices as a .pdf file, which can then be emailed to the client.

Perixam will be released mid-2009.

Perixam will use new inzource technology that allows the application to run on both Windows and GNU/Linux by having it's own built in webserver, which can also be installed on a proper webserver such as IIS in Windows and Apache2 or Lighttpd on GNU/Linux with FastCGI.
