inzource today released Galium, a new product that is designed and developed to administrate and operate Top Level Domains. A Top Level Domain is the last part of an Internet domain name; that is, the letters which follow the final dot of any domain name. For example, in the domain name www.example.com, the top-level domain is com.¹

The software allows the easy creation of a Network Information Centre (NIC, also called a "Domain Name Registry"), similar to what Verisign, Inc does for the .com and .tv domains.

With Galium, Alternative NIC operators such as OpenNIC are now able to make new TLD's and allow people to gather those domains for quick usage in less than 10 minutes!

Galium requirements:

• Apache2
• PHP 5
• BIND
• MySQL
• a UNIX-like operating system (eg, Linux or OS X)
